Team

  • The women's three point line moved a foot out from 19'9” to 20'9”, which is where the men's three point line is. The Buffs struggled early on going just 2-12 in the first half, but improving slightly in the second half going 3-8. Overall they shot 5-20 (25%) from the three point line.
  • CU continues it's dominance in games in which it led at half. Last year the Buffs went 17-1 when leading at half. CU had a 40-20 lead at half against Regis today. The Buffs led at half in all but one of their victories last season.
  • CU spread the scoring today as nine players were on the board, eight of those scoring at least five points, and with four players in double figures.
  • CU was able to extend its perfect 21-0 exhibition record, improving to 22-0 against Regis today. The Buffs have outscored opponents by over 30 points per game in exhibitions, and outscored Regis by 38 today in their 78-40 victory.
  • Buffs continue off of last year's success with a victory today. CU finished 6-3 to end the season last year.
  • The Buffs ended up with 17 steals today, and 12 in the first half which was more than their average of 7.5 steals per game last year. Jen Reese, Chucky Jeffery, and Julie Seabrook all led the team with three steals apiece.
  • The Buffs outshot Regis today 39.1% to 28.6%. CU was 16-1 last season when they outshot their opponents. They were also 17-8 when shooting 35% or better last year.
  • CU out-rebounded Regis 46-26, continuing their success in games in which they out-rebound their opponents. They went 15-7 last year when out-rebounding other teams.
  • CU was 12-1 last year when they had more assist then their opponents, they won this battle today with 14 assists as a team, while Regis had just 6.
