  • Tonight's victory marks the second highest (64 vs. Savannah State in 2006) margin of victory since the jump ball was discontinued after every made basket. Of CU's five wins by 58+ points, three came during the year 1909.
  • Tonight marks the seventh win in CU history by 50+ points, and just the second since 1930. The win is CU's 20th by 40+ points since 1930, and 14th since the inception of the three-point shot.
  • 34 points allowed is the lowest since Jan. 17, 1949, a 42-30 win at Kansas
  • Ties the all-time series versus New Orleans, 1-1
  • Win is the team's third in a row and seventh in nine games
  • Is 8-0 when having a higher shooting percentage than the opponent; 6-1 when they outrebound their opponent; 5-1 when leading at halftime
  • Wore black jerseys at home for the first time since Feb. 9, 2008 vs. Oklahoma (CU won 72-58). CU shot 60.6 percent from the field (20-of-33); 86.2 percent from the FT line (25-of-29) and made seven treys (11 attempts, 63.6 percent) in the win over OU. It was former head coach Jeff Bzdelik's first season (12-20 that year; 6-10 at home).
  • Has given up a combined 36 first half points in its last two games
  • Had a season-high 32 field goals made
  • Had a season-high 51 points in the first half. The previous high was 41 points on Nov. 11 vs. Fort Lewis. It was the most points scored in the first 20 minutes since Dec. 22, 2005 when they scored 65 vs. Mercer (117-74 win)
  • Had a season-high 39 defensive rebounds and 53 total rebound
  • Had a season-high 18 assists
  • Shot a season-high 88.5 percent from the free throw line (23-for-26)
  • Had its best first half free throw shooting performance of the season (minimum five attempts), going 17-for-18 (94.4 percent). It was also the most free throws made and attempted in the first half all season
  • This is the first game that CU has won by more than seven points since the season opener against Fort Lewis College when CU won by 28 points
  • 13 CU players scored tonight for the first time this season. CU had 11 players register points in the season opener against Fort Lewis College. Every bench player scored tonight and the only CU player not to score any points was Nate Tomlinson
  • CU's 92 points are the most points scored by the Buffs this season. The highest prior to tonight was 85 against Fort Lewis College
  • New Orleans' 14 second-half points are the fewest points scored in a half for a CU opponent this season.
  • CU had five players score double-digit points for the second time this season. CU had five players register at least 10-points at Air Force on Nov. 23

Carlon Brown

  • Finished with 18 points and now has 1,010 career points. He surpassed the 1,000 point mark with a one-hand dunk, just 6:30 into first half
  • Had his fourth straight double-digit point outing. He has picked up double-digit points in 10 of the 12 games this season

Andre Roberson

  • Led team in rebounding for the eighth straight game
  • Had his eighth double-double of the season and 12th of his career

Askia Booker

  • Had a career-high six rebounds
  • Had a career-high 11 field goal attempts

Trey Eckloff

  • Season high in minutes with six in his second game of the season
  • Season high in points with three

Beau Webb

  • Scored his first collegiate points of his career with a three-pointer late in the second half.
