BOULDER - Women's basketball guard Chucky Jeffery (junior) and men's basketball guard Spencer Dinwiddie (freshman) are jointly recognized as CU's Athlete of the Week for their performances the week of? Nov. 28 - Dec. 4.

Jeffery, who received the honor of being named Pac-12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, recorded 26 points against San Francisco on Wednesday, bettering that mark and putting up 30 points against Idaho on Sunday. The 5-foot-10 Colorado Springs, Colo. (Sierra) native was nearly perfect in shooting against USF, making all of her 3-point and free throw attempts, while shooting 10-of-14 overall from the floor. She also established career highs in points (30), 3-pointers made (4), and attempted (5) in the win over Idaho.

Jeffery now has double-doubles in three straight games, a first for CU since Jackie McFarland had two separate streaks of three during the 2006-07 season. Jeffery's three steals against Idaho also allowed her to move into 14th on CU's all-time list with 146. Her shooting accuracy critical in helping CU remain the last unbeaten women's basketball team in the Pac-12, she shot 64.5 percent on the week.

Dinwiddie, a 6-foot-5 guard from Woodland Hills, Calif. (Taft), recorded his second-straight 16-point performance in Colorado's 65-64 road loss to Colorado State on Wednesday. Collecting a season-best eight rebounds, Dinwiddie tallied 11 of his team-high 16 points in the first half. Shooting a season-best 6-of-10 from the field, he also had two three-pointers, a team-high three assists and a blocked shot. Dinwiddie led the Buffs in scoring with 16 in a 70-68 win on Monday against Georgia in Boulder.
