HISTORIC START: Colorado is 8-0 for just the third time in team history and first since the 1992-93 squad won a school record 15 games to begin the season. The only other 8-0 team was in 1980-81 when the Buffaloes started 12-0.

Colorado improved its series record over Denver to 5-2, including a perfect 4-0 in Boulder.

Colorado had a season-high 20 assists, its most since dishing out 22 against Loyola Chicago on Nov. 27, 2010.

Colorado shot 50 percent in the first half. Chucky Jeffery and Julie Seabrook combined to go 9-of-11 (.818) with the rest of the team just 3-of-13 (.231).

Colorado sizzled in the second half shooting  60.7 percent (17-of-28) its best half of the season.

Chucky Jeffery has shot 71 percent (29-of-41) over the last three games including  8-of-10 from 3-point range (.800).

Jeffery's 9-of-10 performance from the field was the best by a CU player on a minimum 10 attempts since Jackie McFarland was 9-of-10 against CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 28, 2007.

Senior Julie Seabrook is averaging 11 points and 7.3 rebounds over the last three games.

Junior Meagan Malcolm-Peck moved into sole possession of 13th place on CU's all-time list for 3-pointers made with 67. She was 2-of-3 on the evening breaking her tie with Veronica Johns-Richardson who had 65 from 2001-05. Malcolm-Peck had made just one of 14 previous attempts over her last three games.

Freshman Lexy Kresl scored her seventh double-digit scoring effort in eight career games.  She was 3-of-6 from 3-point range, and has multiple 3-pointers in six of eight contests.

Sophomore Brenna Malcolm-Peck played in the final minute, her first game since Feb. 27, 2010.

Freshman walk-on Esther Lee made both 3-point attempts for a career-best six points. She has made 3-of-4 from 3-point range on the season.
