Colorado also snaps a three-game losing streak against Nebraska.
Colorado improves its all-time series lead over Nebraska to 40-28, as today's game tied the Missouri series with the most played in team history. CU's 40 wins over Nebraska are the second most against any one team (41 vs. Missouri).
Colorado's 25-point margin of victory was its largest in a Big 12 game since defeating Kansas 73-42 in Boulder on Feb. 5, 2003. This was Colorado's largest margin of victory against Nebraska since a 95-60 home win on Feb. 6, 2002, exactly nine years ago.
Colorado's plus-18 rebound margin was its most in a Big 12 game since out dueling Texas 50-29 (+21) on the boards on Feb. 16, 2008. Colorado has outrebounded 17 of 22 opponents this season, including six in Big 12 play.
Colorado improved to 4-3 all-time on Super Bowl Sunday.
CU ended the game on a 19-4 run. Nebraska made just one of its last 18 field goal attempts.
Colorado's 39 first half points were its most in a Big 12 game since scoring 40 against Kansas State on Feb. 23, 2008, a 73-68 CU win. Colorado improved to 11-0 this season when leading at halftime.
Colorado tied a season high with 10 made 3-pointers (Regis). The 10 was CU's most in a Big 12 games since draining 14 at Missouri on Feb. 23, 2010.
Colorado's 18 assists were its most in a Big 12 games since dishing out 21 in an 82-71 loss to Iowa State on Feb. 7, 2009.
Brittany Spears started her 115th consecutive game, adding to her own school record for starts in a row both overall and to a start of a career. Spears 115th overall start ties her with Amy Mathern (1989-93) for fifth all time.
Spears finished with 26 points, tying her own team season high. It was also her 100th career game in double figures, third all-time at CU and her 39th career 20-point game.
Spears retook the lead on the Big 12's active career scoring list at 1,930. OU's Danielle Robinson had 20 points in a win over Iowa State yesterday. She now has 1,926.
Spears had five rebounds, moving past Sandy Bean for fourth place on CU's all-time list with 896. Bean had 895 from 1978-82. She moved past Jenny Roulier into fourth place for career 3-point field goals with 205. Roulier had 203 from 1998-02.
Chucky Jeffery had nine assists, a personal best in a Big 12 game. She had six at Missouri last season.
Senior Britney Blythe was 3-of-6 from 3-point range. She has made eight of her last 16 spanning five games (.500).
Freshman Brittany Wilson had a career high six assists.
Freshman Rachel Hargis registered career-highs with six points and eight rebounds.
