• Colorado advances to the quarterfinal round for the first time since 2007-08. That season the Buffaloes were the first No. 12 seed to upset No. 5 (Baylor, 91-84 2 ots) • CU improves to 8-14 in Big 12 Championship games • 2-1 as the No. 5 seed • 2-0 vs. Iowa State in post-season Big 12 play • CU improves to 2-1 in neutral court games this season.
• CU has won 20 games in a season, a first to win that many games in a season since 2005-06 (20-10, NIT).
• The 20 wins in season is the fifth time in school history.
• Head Coach Tad Boyle now ranks second in school history to win that many games as a first year coach (22, Ricardo Patton, 1996-97).
• Third game this season a pair of CU players grabbed 10 or more rebounds in the same game (Iowa State, Texas).
• CU is 15-0 with a higher shooting percentage; 15-2 when outrebounding the opponent (at OU, at Mizzou only losses); 12-2 when their bench outscores the opponent (at OU, at BU).
• Levi Knutson made two treys (66 season) ranking 10th in CU season three-pointers.
• Knutson has made a three-pointer in 30 of 32 games; sixth games with at least two in a game.
• Cory Higgins played his 1,000 minute of the season today (1034). He has recorded over a 1,000 minutes in each of his four seasons.
• Alec Burks and Andre Roberson career-high 15 rebounds each. Last time CU with two players with 15+ rebounds: Nov. 24, 2002 vs. Stetson (Stephane Pelle 21, David Harrison 17)
• Burks scored 20 or more points for the 18th time this season (26 career); he tied a season-high three steals
• 18, 20-point games (26 career) • Led CU in scoring 21 times (33 career)
• 10 of 17 Big 12 games over 20+ and led CU in scoring 12 of 17 Big 12 games.
• Nate Tomlinson recorded a blocked shot today, his second career block.
• Andre Roberson 10 games w/ 10+ rebounds • 13 games w/ 9+ rebounds • 20 games with 7+ boards • Led Buffs on boards 19 times.
• Alec Burks and Cory Higgins have led CU one-and-two in scoring 37 of their 62 games together, 18 times this season • Leading CU in scoring: Burks 21 times
• Burks netted scoring double figures 30 of 32 games; Higgins 29 of 32 games; Knutson 23 of 32.
