TEAM
- CU has won three straight games by double digits after their six prior wins were all won by single digits.
- CU has started 2-0 in conference play for only the third time since the 1996-97 season. The Buffs started 3-0 in conference last season in the Big 12 with wins over Missouri, Oklahoma State and Kansas State. CU has not started 2-0 in conference play in two consecutive seasons since the 1961-62 and 1962-63 seasons when they were members of the Big 8 conference. CU started the 1961-62 conference season 10-0, and the 1962-63 conference season 5-0.
- This is only the second time this season that Washington was outscored in both halves.
- CU had five players register double-digits (Dufault, Tomlinson, Dinwiddie, Brown, Booker) for the third time this season, the last occurrence was against New Orleans on December 28.
- CU improves to 7-7 all-time and 5-1 in Boulder against Washington and has now won three straight at home versus the Huskies.
- CU is on a five-game winning streak and has won eight of their last 10 contests. It is their longest streak since winning seven in a row last season, from Dec. 23, 2010 to Jan. 15, 2011.
- Head coach Tad Boyle improves to 26-3 at home (89.66 percent).
- CU has used the same starting lineup of Brown, Dinwiddie, Tomlinson, Roberson and Dufault in five straight games (all wins) and 12 contests overall this season (9-3).
- CU had a .571 three-point shooting percentage which is the highest this season.
- CU won tonight despite being outscored off the bench, in the paint, off of turnovers, on the fast break, and second chance scoring. CU outscored Washington from the three-point-line and from the free-throw-line. CU is now 6-0 this season when being outscored off the bench.
- Tomlinson has started 90 career games which ties him with Vince Kelley (1980-84) for 8th all-time at Colorado. He has also played in 107 games which ties him with Donnie Boyce (1991-95) for 27th all-time.
- Tomlinson made his 129th three-pointer, tying him for sixth all-time in school history with Levi Knutson (2007-11) and Donnie Boyce (1991-95)
- Tomlinson has had three or more assists in four straight games and six of the last seven contests
- Dufault has now scored 825 points in his career at CU which is 41st all-time, he is 2 points behind Bob Jeangerard for 40th all-time.
- Dufault now has 437 career rebounds which passes Jacquez Tuz (1978-82) for 31st all-time. He needs 3 more rebounds to tie Matt Bullard (1985-87).
Andre Roberson
- Roberson's 2 blocks tonight gives him 62 blocks in his career which moves him up to 20th all-time and is tied with Alex Stivrins. He needs 5 more blocks to tie Jamahl Mosley (1997-01) and Matt Bullard (1995-97) for 19th all-time.
- Roberson has been the team leader in rebounds in ten straight games and has registered at least 10 rebounds in 12 games this season. He has had 12 or more rebounds in four straight games and in eight of the last ten games.
- Brown led the team in scoring with 18 points. This is the second time in three games that Brown has been the team leader in points and the third time overall this season.
- Harris-Tunks has registered a block in three straight games.
- Dinwiddie has had 13 or more points in nine straight games
