Colorado's four game losing streak is its first since the Buffs dropped the final four games of the 2009-10 season.
Colorado has been held below 50 points in back-to-back games for the first time since January 2009 at Oklahoma State (43) and at Texas (32). The Buffaloes are averaging 48 points over their four-game skid.
Cal entered the game third in the nation in rebounding margin at plus-13.9. The Buffaloes held their own, although they were outrebounded, the margin was just three (35-32).
Julie Seabrook picked up one blocked shot, CU's only block in the last three games.
Meagan Malcolm-Peck broke a three-game scoreless streak, hitting a 3-pointer early in the first half. The 3-pointer also put her over 500 points for her career. She finished with eight points and is at 505 for her career. Malcolm-Peck had a season high 11 field goal attempts and tied a season high with 6 attempts from 3-point range.
Ashley Wilson tied a career high with seven rebounds, matching her effort against Valparaiso on Nov. 25.
Freshman Jasmine Sborov made her first collegiate start in place of the injured Jen Reese. She tied a personal best with three assists.
