Colorado-California Notes

Cal's overall Tournament record is now 11-10, while Colorado falls to 1-1. The Bears have reached the Tournament's semifinal round six consecutive years (and sixth overall).

In the Tournament, the #2 seed is now 3-0 against the #10 seed.

Cal has been outrebounded by an opponent only once this season (at Stanford, 51-47 on Jan.28). Colorado was outrebounded for only the 8th time this season.

Cal is a perfect 17-0 this season when holding an opponent under 60 points.

Colorado's Chucky Jeffery has scored in double-figures in 27 of her team's 31 games. On CU's career ladders she moved into 13th in rebounds (620) and 17th in field goals made (429),

Brittany Wilson had three 3-point field goals for the fourth time this season. Wilson was 6-of-10 in her two Pac-12 games. She had been 6-of-33 over the previous nine games prior to the tournament. Wilson finished 39 points in the two games (19.5 ppg) the best two-game total of her career.

Lexy Kresl had 8 rebounds for the Buffaloes, a career high.

Rachel Hargis had seven points, her most since scoring 10 in the home loss to Cal on Jan. 12.

The Bears jumped out to an early 10-0 lead before Chucky Jeffery scored for the Buffaloes at the 16:20 mark. With 5:25 to go, Cal built the lead up to 16 points (27-11) before Colorado finished the first half with a 16-8 run.

Colorado scored the first 4 points of the second half to narrow Cal's lead to 35-31. The Bears again built up a double digit lead (43-33) at 15:06.
