Stanford improves its lead in the series to 9-4 and has won the last four. The Cardinal have won all six meetings in Stanford.
Colorado dropped to 1-4 against ranked teams this season and 3-9 under coach Linda Lappe. CU dropped to 62-146 all-time against ranked opponents
All four of Colorado's losses have been to teams ranked in the Top 7 of either poll. No. 4/3 Stanford on Jan. 4, No. 7/7 Cal on Jan. 6, No. 7/7 Cal on Jan. 25 and No. 6/6 Stanford on Jan. 27. The Buffaloes' last eight ranked opponents have been at No. 7 or higher dating back to 2010-11.
Colorado's streak of holding teams under 60 ends at a school-record nine consecutive games. Colorado still has not allowed an opponent to reach 70 through 19 games, a program best.
Colorado drops to 4-2 on the road this season and is 13-9 in its last 21 true road contests.
Turnovers were costly in the first half. Colorado had 10 to Stanford's 3. The Cardinal, which led by nine at the break (35-26) had a 12-2 advantage in points off turnovers in the first 20 minutes. Colorado narrowed both categories in the second half. The Buffaloes finished with 18 turnovers, 13 for Stanford and the Cardinal led in points off turnovers 21-13.

Colorado's bench outscored Stanford's 26-16.
Colorado won the rebounding battle 39-33. It was the Buffaloes first loss in 15 games the season when they've held the rebounding edge (14-1).
Colorado trailed by as many as 21 points (51-30) but used a 16-2 run over a 6:25 stretch to cut the Stanford lead to 53-46 with 8:01. That stretch included a 12-0 run in the first 3:39 of that span. The Cardinal responded with a 9-2 run, and kept the game in double digits the rest of the way.

Jamee Swan (14 points, 6 rebounds 7-of-9 FG) tied her personal scoring best (UMKC) and set a career high in field goals made. She has made 20-of-31 from the field over the last five games (.645)
Ashley Wilson (7 points, 3 rebounds, 3-of-4 FG) recorded season highs in points and field goals made. Hit her first 3-pointer of the season, and just the fifth of her career. She has 18 of her season's 38 points in the last three games.
Chucky Jeffery (13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals) ties a season-high in steals, her 43rd career game with at least three steals.
