Colorado-Jackson State Game Notes

TEAM

• First-ever meeting against Jackson State; CU improves to 12-0 against the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

• CU Improves to 47-7 at home (.870) in four years under coach Boyle; 17-7 (.708) in November games including a 12-0 mark at home

• Coach improves his four-year coaching record for most wins in the shortest time at CU with his 72nd victory (39 losses) and is four wins from fourth all-time on the school's all-time list.

• CU continues its streak of treys dating back to Jan. 19, 2002, the Buffs have now made 369-straight.

• Jackson State shot 30% from the field in the first half, not including threes (made 6-12 from behind the arc, tied for opponent high in the season – UT Martin).

• Set first half season highs in fg% (64%) and 3-point FG% (60%)

• Five different Buffs hit treys in the first half.

• Seven of the first ten points in the second half were free throws (all consecutive).

• Highest FG% in a game (62%) since December 21^,2012 against Northern Arizona (67%).

• Seven players scored in double-figures, most in Coach Boyle era at CU. (School record is eight, Feb. 3, 1973 at Iowa State, CU won 83-81 OT).

• All available Buffs saw action.

• Nine three-pointers made (10 combined in first three games this season).

• Highest 3pt FG% (53%) since February 14, 2013 against Arizona (53%).

• First time the Buffs have scored 90+ points in two games in one season since 2009-2010.

JARON HOPKINS

• First collegiate start Saturday.
• Surpassed his career high in points (9), FGs made (4), 3-pt FGs (1), assists (2), all in the first half. Ended with 12 points.

SPENCER DINWIDDIE
• set a career-high in steals with six.
• Scored 11 Points, six shy of Mack Tuck for #35 all-time.
• Started his 73rd career game tying for 18^th in school history.
• Perfect from the charity stripe for the 22^nd time in his career.

Askia Booker
• Moves past Mike Reed to #53 on CU's all-time scoring leaders (772).
• Sets season high in points (15), FGs (6), 3pt FGs (3), assists (6), and rebounds (5). Led team in all of these categories except rebounds (7 each: George King, Josh Scott).
• 6^th consecutive game reaching double figures (37 career total).
• set a career-high in assists (6).

Xavier Talton
• Shot a perfect 100% from the field in the first half (3/3, 8 pts, 2/2 3pt FGs)
• Set career high in points (13), minutes (25), 3-pt FGs (3), and tied assists (3).

Josh Scott
• Scored in double figures and 7+ boards in every game this season.

Ben Mills
• Season-best five points, three rebounds in three minutes.

Dustin Thomas
• Set career-high in points (13), FGs made (5), and rebounds (4).
