FOLSOM FIELD WIN #300 In improving to 2-2 at home this season, Colorado is now 300-159-10 in its 90th season playing its home games at Folsom Field. The first game at Folsom was Oct. 11, 1924 (then known as Colorado Stadium, built at a cost of $75,000); previous, CU was 73-17-6 at Gamble Field and 19-5 on other grass areas of campus; the Buffs are 391-181-16 all-time at home.Â
QUICKLY Colorado cut the Cal lead in the series to 4-3; the Buffs lead in Boulder, 3-2 … The 41 points were the most by the Buffs in the series … CU is now 2-8 on the coin toss in 2013 … Colorado is now 52-15 against unranked teams in November dating back to 1989 … TE Sean Irwin made his first career start … The last time the football and men's basketball team won on the same day was on Nov. 14, 1998: FB defeated Iowa State 37-8, and MBB beat Denver, 69-66.
The 21 second quarter points matched CU's high for a quarter this year (also in the fourth vs. Central Arkansas), and the 24 points were a first half high, as was its 324 total yards … The Buffs scored their first touchdown of the year in the last two minutes of the first half (came into the game outscored 56-3 in the final 2:00 of the first half).
WR PAUL RICHARDSON (11-140-0 TD) P-Rich" now has 71 catches for 1,201 yards, 16.9 per, with nine touchdowns. He now holds CU's mark for single-season receiving yards, breaking the 21-year old mark of 1,149 set by Charles E. Johnson in 1992. He's inching closer to the season reception mark of 78 (D.J. Hackett, 2003, as his 71 is fourth-most). The TD record is 11 (Derek McCoy, 2003). u Career: 144-2,270-20 TD. Those numbers rank him fourth in receptions (moved up three spots today); fifth in yards (up one) and he remains tied for the second-most TDs.
- It was his sixth 100-yard game of the season, tying the school record, and now has nine for his career (third all-time at CU, the record is 12).
- He earned eight first downs receiving, tying the mark for the most in a game held by himself and two others. He has 42 on the season, five shy of the CU record (47).

WR NELSON SPRUCE (8-140-0 TD RECEIVING, 1-46, 1 TD KOR)
He had his second career 100-yard game, and had his career-long reception of 62 yards. He had CU's first kickoff return for a touchdown since Marques Mosley returned one 100 yards against Utah last year; it was the first onside kickoff return for a touchdown in CU history (the first in a CU game since KSU had one in the 1982 season finale).
100-YARD DOUBLE This was the 15th time in school history that two players had over 100 yards receiving in the same game (last time: twice in 2009, by Markques Simas & Scotty McKnight at Iowa State and versus Nebraska). Paul Richardson (11-140) and Nelson Spruce (8-140) are just the second pair to do it with each at 140-plus yards (joining Derek McCoy, 6-171, and D.J. Hackett, 4-143, at Baylor in 2003). P-Rich and Spruce combined for the seventh most yards (280) out of the 15.
1,000-YARD DOUBLE For the sixth time in CU history, two players have thrown for 1,000 yards or more in the same season; freshman Sefo Liufau joined junior Connor Wood today in surpassing the mark. The list:

- P Darragh O'Neill had one punt inside-the-20, the 65th of his career, tying John Torp's CU record set from 2002-05.
- CB Kenneth Crawley made his second career interception (both have been in end zone)

- QB Sefo Liufau (36-23-1, 364, 3 TD; 143.3 rating) had his first multi-TD game; the 364 yards tied for the 16th most in a game in CU history, the second-most by a freshman: Koy Detmer had 418 against Oklahoma (33-of-50) in a 24-24 tie on Oct. 17, 1992 (he was also a true frosh).
