Colorado improves to 20-5 overall, 9-5 in Pac-12 play. The 20 wins are CU's most in regular season action since the 2003-04 team won 22 (finished 22-8).Colorado's nine league wins are also its most since the 2003-04 squad finished 11-5 in the Big 12. The win also clinches CU's first .500 league season since 2003-04.
Colorado has reached 20 wins in a season for the 19th time in team history and second year in a row. The Buffaloes need just one win to match last season's total of 21.
Colorado improved to 7-3 away from Boulder and is 16-10 in its last 26 true road contests. The Buffs pick up their fourth Pac-12 road win, passing its 2012 league total of three.
Colorado claims its first road-sweep on a two-game Pac-12 road trip since joining the league for the 2011-12 season.
Colorado's five-game conference win streak is its best since the 2003-04 team had a six-game streak during Big 12 play.
Colorado improves to 11-2 all-time against Arizona State, sweeping the season series. The Buffaloes even their Pac-12 record against the Sun Devils at 2-2.
Colorado's comeback from an eight-point halftime deficit (35-27) was its largest since defeating Nebraska 75-73 at home on Jan. 31, 2009 after trailing by eight at the half (42-34). It was CU's largest comeback on the road since a 56-51 win at Missouri on Jan. 18, 2004 after trailing by eight at the break (28-20).
Colorado improves to 4-3 this year when trailing at the half. Two of those wins are against ASU. The Sun Devils led the Buffaloes 26-22 in Boulder on Jan. 18 before storming back for a 57-43 win.
Colorado had 23 offensive rebounds, one off a season high, and had a 26-11 advantage on second-chance points. Colorado's bench outscored ASU 34-12.
Colorado reached 50 rebounds for the fourth time this season, and equaled its best road effort (50 at Denver). The Buffaloes have either tied or won the rebounding battle in 21 of 24 games this year and enjoy a double-digit margin for the 12th time this year.
Jen Reese (22 points, 7-of-10 FG, 8-of-8 FT, 8 rebounds) established a new career-high, eclipsing the 16 she had against Utah Valley earlier this season. Also set a personal best 8-of-8 from the line, tying Brittany Wilson's 8-for-8 effort against Idaho as the team's best this season. She matched her career-best with seven field goals, which she also hit Friday at Arizona. For the weekend Reese was 14-of-23 from the field (.609) and averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds.
Arielle Roberson (16 points, 3-of-7 3FG, 8 rebounds) nailed a career-high three 3-pointers. She had just three 3-pointers in her previous 11 games combined. Roberson matched her league best with 16 points which she set at USC. Her 35 minutes played and seven 3-point attempts were also career highs.
Chucky Jeffery (12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists) records her 8th double-double of the season and 28th of her career. It was her fourth double-double in the last five games. She had two blocked shots to tie teammate Meagan Malcolm-Peck for 13th on CU's all-time list with 68. She has recorded at least one assist in 67 straight games and in 116 of 118 career outings.
Rachel Hargis (5 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals) tied a season-high with seven boards (fourth time). Her two steals give her 10 in the last five games.
Lexy Kresl injured her right shoulder during a mass scramble for the ball on a tie-up. She left the game and did not return.
