CU-Washington Still On, Extreme Caution Advised

The Colorado-Washington women's basketball game will be played as scheduled today at 2 p.m. at the Coors Events Center.

Fans are asked to exercise extreme caution if they are still planning to attend. Travel in the Denver-Boulder area is not advised.

A winter storm warning is in effect until 8 p.m. MT for Boulder and surrounding communities. Eight to 12 inches of snow are expected in the area with winds from 25 MPH, gusting to 35 MPH.

All scheduled pregame events, including the National Girls and Women In Sports Day skills challenge (Noon) as well as Chip's Corral Club Room (12:30 p.m.) are also still scheduled to take place.
