Colorado-Missouri Notes

December 12, 2014 | Women's Basketball

Missouri snaps a four-game Colorado win streak in the series which the Buffaloes lead 42-28 overall. This was the 70th all-time meeting between the two teams; the most played series in Colorado history. The 42 wins were already established as the most the Buffaloes have over any one opponent.

Colorado's 21 points allowed in the first half is the lowest for any half  this year. The Buffaloes also enjoyed their largest halftime lead (12 at 33-21) and held Missouri to the second lowest field goal percentage in one half this season at 26.7 percent.

Colorado has dropped consecutive nonconference games for the first time since December 18-19, 2010 when the Buffaloes fell in both their games at USC's Women of Troy Tournament.

Colorado was outrebounded for the first time in 2014-15 with a season-low total of 35.

Colorado's points (50), field goals made (18) and field goal percentage (.333) were all season lows.

Lexy Kresl had 17 points after being held to 10 in the previous two games combined. During that stretch she had gone 0-for-10 from 3-point range and rebounded to hit 5-of-11 Friday. The five 3-pointers tied a season high (Missouri State) and it marked her sixth career game with five or more 3-pointers. Her five 3-pointers also pushed her career total to 144 and tying Jasmina Ilic (2003-07) for eighth on CU's all-time list. She has made a 3-pointer in  77 of 104 career games and has 38 games with two or more.

Jamee Swan had two blocked shots moving her career total to 80, ranking 10th on CU's all-time list.
