QUICKLY Colorado sold 2,000 tickets to this game and utilized another 350 for player requests (through horse trading with teammates, S Terrel Smith used the most 49 followed by DT Justin Solis (18), CB Ken Crawley (17) and PK Will Oliver and DE De'Jon Wilson (16 each; though Wilson had 29 total at his disposal); Solis grew up in Queens, N.Y. and Oliver interned this past summer in NYC ... This was the 15th game in school history with a temperature of 90 degrees or warmer (CU is 8-7 in these games and is 46-31 when it is 80 or higher) ... Mike MacIntyre is now 5-9 at the reins of the Buffaloes, winning one more game than the program had in the 2011-12 seasons combined ... Colorado is now 10-21 all-time in the Eastern Time Zone ... The Buffs wore white uniforms with gold pants, the fourth time since 2008 but having done so three times last year (2-2 in the look the last two years) ... Colorado had 502 yards of total offense until losing 28 yards on the last three plays to run out the clock.

WR NELSON SPRUCE (10-145, 2 TD)He recorded a career-best 145 receiving yards (topping 140 against Cal last year), with his 10 receptions matching his previous career high against Utah as a freshman; he had two TD receptions for the second straight game. He moved from 15th into 11th in career receiving yards (1,345) and from 10th into ninth in career catches (116); he is now tied for 10th in career TD catches (11).
QB SEFO LIUFAU (42-26-1, 318, 3 TD) The 318 yards were the second most in his career and he tied his career high eight three TD passes. He now has 2,338 career yards, jumping from 20th into 14th place, with his 17 TD passes already seventh all-time.
TB TONY JONES (7-47-1 TD)He had his most rushing yards in a game since game 2 of last year (12-58 vs. Central Arkansas); he now has 924 career yards, closing in on becoming the 51st Buff to record 1,000 career yards. He now has seven career rushing TDs.
LINER NOTES
PK Will Oliver has now made 67 consecutive PAT kicks, breaking the school record of 66 set by Ken Culbertson during the 1989 season; he scored 11 points today, which gives him 205 for his career, becoming the sixth Colorado Buffalo to reach the 200-point mark in scoring.
S Tedric Thompson made his first career interception, coming on a third down and deflection from Chidobe Awuzie in the fourth quarter. It was CU's first interception this season.
TB Christian Powell (19-80, 1 TD) had his best game since a 97-yard effort at UCLA last year; he now has 1,341 career yards, moving into 32nd all-time at Colorado.
