"Arizona State is a good team. Their defense was on point tonight, they played defense like we did at our place, where every time our player turns around they were right there; they get by one and their would be another one and so on. They forced us into some turnovers. You know we shot the same percentage as they did, even though it didn't feel like it, but we took 13 less shots then Arizona State, which is not necessarily a recipe for success. If we are going to do that then we need to make sure that we are defending and keeping the games in the 40s. You have to give them credit tonight, our kids battled we just didn't have enough tonight."

On Positives Heading Into Tournament
"We are playing pretty well, even though tonight didn't go they way we wanted it to go. We have talked about preparing for the Pac-12 tournament and Arizona State prepared us for the tournament. Even though we didn't necessarily get better through the course of the game on handling some things, there is still a lot of great teaching points that we can watch on film this week. USC will get after us and pressure us. This game was a great look for us as we head into USC and the rest of the Pac-12 tournament."
