Women's Football Clinic Back For 2015

July 17, 2015 | Football

BOULDER—The University of Colorado athletic department is offering fans an opportunity to learn the basics of college football straight from head football coach Mike MacIntyre and his staff.

The Colorado Football Women's Clinic will take place on Wednesday, July 22, from 5-8 p.m.  The clinic will provide women the opportunity to learn from and interact with the entire Colorado football staff and to build on their knowledge and insight of the game of college football.

The evening will also feature an exclusive open house of the brand new football locker room, sports medicine suite and weight room along with on-field instruction and activities.

“It's always a lot of fun” MacIntyre said. “They'll learn a lot about the game, and they'll be able to meet our staff.   Some will know a lot about football, and some won't, but either way it really helps to watch and understand the game and understand what our players go through."

The event is intended to provide a comfortable setting for women to learn about and celebrate Buffs football.  The clinic activities are interactive learning experiences covering all aspects of football.  MacIntyre, his entire coaching staff, and select student-athletes will teach all the sessions of the clinic, which will involve active participation by all attendees.

The cost for the event is $50 per person. Each registrant will receive an official gift, snacks and beverages and $25 of their fee will go towards the Buffalo Belles/Martha Johnson Scholarship Endowment.
