Women's Basketball Alumnae Weekend Is Jan. 30-31

BOULDER—The University of Colorado women's basketball team will host its 2015-16 Alumnae Weekend, January 30-31 as the Buffaloes are slated to honor the 20th anniversary of the 1995-96 Big 8 championship team.
The annual alumnae weekend kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 30 with Colorado holding an open practice from 1-3 p.m. at the Coors Events Center. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to watch practice as the Buffs prepare to play Southern California the following day and meet players afterward. Saturday concludes with a get-together at Ted's Montana Grill from 4-6 p.m.
On Sunday, Jan. 31, the afternoon will be filled with a basketball double-header as both the men's and women's teams are in action, beginning with the men as they host California at 3 p.m. Following the conclusion of the men's game, the Alumnae Dinner will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Hofman Court (lower gym). Then at 7 p.m., the women's basketball team takes the floor to battle Pac-12 opponent, USC.
The halftime presentation will feature, the 1995-96 team with this year marking the 20th anniversary of their Big 8 Championship along with honoring Lisa Van Goor as the Jane Wahl Award recipient. All alumnae in attendance will also be recognized on the court during intermission.
Two complimentary tickets to each game will be given to each alum who registers online. Additional tickets are available for purchase: $15 each for the women and $25 each for the men's game.
