SAN FRANCISCO – Pac-12 Networks confirmed today that Pac-12 Network, the national feed, will move to Comcast's Digital Starter level of service in the designated home markets of member schools in Comcast's footprint this summer. At the same time in these designated home markets, the local regional Pac-12 Networks channel in each market will move to Comcast's Sports and Entertainment Package. Comcast has designated July 21, 2016 as the day these changes will occur for customers across the states that receive the Pac-12 regional networks, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. This move means that Comcast subscribers will have access to 34 Pac-12 football games, as well as all men's basketball conference games, 300 Olympic sports events and all Pac-12 Championship events, including the men's and women's basketball tournaments on Pac-12 Network. The moves also mean more fans who subscribe to Comcast and live outside of a school's immediate geographic footprint but within the Pac-12's six states - for example an Arizona State University alum living in Seattle - will be able to watch their favorite football team this season. “We are very pleased Comcast is making Pac-12 Network, our national feed, available on its Digital Starter service,” said Pac-12 Networks President Lydia Murphy-Stephans. “This move helps ensure all fans, where ever they live, will have access to their favorite Pac-12 teams and sports.” Comcast subscribers will first see the change when football kicks off on Pac-12 Networks Thursday, Sept. 1. Pac-12 Network will feature quadruple headers each of the first three Saturdays of the season. See the full Pac-12 Networks schedule for the first three weeks here.
