Tonight's forecast is calling for a high of 73 degrees and sunny. The low for tonight will be around 47 degrees with low winds.
- In his three career games against Arizona, Phillip Lindsay has rushed the ball 65 times for 330 yards and six touchdowns. He is also 160 yards away from breaking CU's all-time record for all-purpose yards in a career.
- WR Shay Fields' two longest receptions of his career have come against Arizona a 75-yard touchdown pass in 2014 and a 72-yard touchdown reception in 2015.
- Kicker James Stefanou comes into tonight's game with nine consecutive field goal attempts, which is tied for the second-best streak in school history. One more would tie Mason Crosby's record of 10.
- Arizona started the game on their 25-yard line, the Wildcats were driving down the field after nine rush attempts. On first and ten Arizona fumbled on the Colorado 14-yard line. Ryan Moeller recovered the fumble and the Buffs took over on their 20-yard line.
- After the turnover, Steven Montez was sacked for a loss of 16 on the first play from scrimmage for the Buffs. Colorado completed two passes for 14 yards but it wasn't enough for the first down and they were forced to punt.
- Alex Kinney punted the ball to the Arizona 42-yard line and on the first play of the drive the Wildcats' backup quarterback Khalil Tate rushed for a 58-yard touchdown to give Arizona the first points of the game.
- Colorado started off their second drive with a holding penalty and then a rush for no yards. On 2nd-and-20 Steven Montez hit Phillip Lindsay for 16 yards, followed by a third down completion to Jay MacIntyre for 39 yards to the Arizona 30-yard line. On third down Montez hit Shay Fields for 15 yards to keep the drive alive and put the Buffs in the red zone. The 75-yard drive ended with a Phillip Lindsay 5-yard run into the end zone to tie the game, 7-7 with 4:33 left in the first quarter.
- On the following drive, Arizona drove 75 yards in six plays to get into the end zone for the second time on the night. Quarterback Khalil Tate ran it in from 28-yards out to give the Wildcats the lead.
- The Buffs continued their ensuing drive in the second quarter, after five rushing attempts to finish out the first quarter. The Buffs moved the ball to their 31-yard line but a third down sack on Steven Montez forced Colorado to punt. A 36-yard punt from Alex Kinney gave Arizona the ball on their 32-yard line.
- Colorado's defense was able to stop the Wildcats and forced them to punt to Isaiah Oliver. After a fair catch on the Colorado 15-yard line, the Buffs rushed Phillip Lindsay three times for a first down. A holding penalty on Jonanthan Huckins pushed the Buffs back 10 yards but on third down Phillip Lindsay busted through for a 35-yard line to the Arizona 49-yard line. Two fourth down conversion by Lindsay kept the Buffs drive alive and from the one yard line, Phillip Lindsay tied the game at 14-14 with 2:24 remaining in the half.
- On the ensuing drive Arizona started on their 32-yard line and on the first play from scrimmage Khaili Tate rushed for 37-yards. A late hit out of bounds by Dante Wigley moved the ball up to the Colorado 16-yard line. Two plays later Khalil Tate found Shun Brown wide open in the end zone for a 13-yard strike and Arizona's third touchdown of the game.
- The Buffs ended the half with a missed 50-yard field goal from James Stefanou.
- Colorado started the third quarter with an Alex Kinney punt after the Buffs were unable to convert on third-and-18. The Buffs added another holding penalty during the drive, a rush for two yards and two incomplete passes led to the Colorado punt.
- Following Colorado's punt, Arizona went 70 yards for a touchdown on four plays. Khalil Tate rushed through Colorado's defense for his third touchdown of the game, this one for 47-yards. The Wildcats took a fourteen point lead over Colorado with 12:21 left in the third quarter.
- The Buffs started their drive on their 25-yard line. The Buffs were able to move the ball with short yardage passes and runs from Phillip Lindsay. After converting on four, third downs, Steven Montez hit Bryce Bobo for a 7-yard touchdown reception to pull the Buffs within seven with 7:13 remaining in the third quarter.
- Arizona marched right back down the field after the Colorado touchdown for a touchdown of their own. The Wildcats drove 75 yards and capped off the drive with a one yard touchdown run. Arizona rushed nine times on their drive with the longest being 28 yards.
- The Buffs offense moved quickly after Arizona's touchdown. Steven Montez hit Bryce Bobo for a 10-yard reception, which was followed by a Phillip Lindsay 45-yard run to the Wildcat 19-yard line. Lindsay rushed for eight more yards to get the Buffs to the 2-yard line and on fourth-and-goal, Steven Montez hit Chris Bounds for a Colorado touchdown to begin the fourth quarter.
- Arizona wasted no time in finding the end zone after Colorado's touchdown. On the first play from scrimmage quarterback Khalil Tate went 75 yards to put the Wildcats back up by 14 with 13:06 remaining in the game.
- On the ensuing drive, Colorado followed up Arizona's touchdown with another touchdown reception from tight end Chris Bounds this time it was a 39-yard catch and run. James Stefanou tacked on the extra point to bring Colorado within seven.
- The Wildcats found themselves in the Buffs red zone very fast after a 60-yard reception by Tony Ellison but Colorado's defense was able to hold strong and keep Arizona to a field goal.
- Colorado started its drive on its 25-yard line. Phillip Lindsay ripped off a 36-yard run to the Arizona 39-yard line. Lindsay rushed five more times, including a 11-yard touchdown run. The Buffs trail by three with 5:04 left in the game.
- Arizona defeated Colorado, 45-42 to give Colorado their third loss of the season.
