Buffs Hold Steady At Ninth In Cascade/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll

BOULDER — There was no change for the Colorado women's lacrosse team in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll as the Buffs held on to the ninth spot for the second straight week.
CU played one game last week, an 18-5 victory over MPSF rival UC Davis, which extended its school record start to 4-0.
Colorado also maintained its No. 13 ranking in the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll. In the NIKE/US Lacrosse Magazine poll, the Buffs moved up one spot to 10th.
Maryland (3-0) moved into the top spot in all three polls after defeating the previous top-ranked team, North Carolina (3-1), last weekend.
The Buffs will host No. 14 Denver (5-0) and Marquette (1-3) this week in Boulder. The game against the Pioneers is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, March 3. CU will host the Golden Eagles on Sunday, March 5, at 1 p.m. Both contests will be played at Kittredge Field.
