Tonight the weather is calling for intervals of rain with a high of 50 degrees. The last heavy rain in Boulder was in the fourth quarter in a 20-13 loss to Michigan in 1996.
- Ralphie's pre-game run has been cancelled do too much water at her starting point.
- Phillip Lindsay needs three more receptions to move ahead of Rodney Steward for the most catches by a tailback in Colorado history. Lindsay currently has 91.
- Drew Lewis has become the first Colorado player to record 10 or more tackles in the first three starts of his career since Greg Biekert in 1990.
- In his 28 seasons as a coach this is the first time Mike MacIntyre is part of a team that opened a season 3-0.
- Colorado started their first drive of the game on their 25-yard line. The Buffs marched 75-yards down the field for a Phillip Lindsay touchdown. Phillip Lindsay rushed for 21 yards while Steven Montez threw for 52 yards and hit three different receivers. James Stefanou knocked in the extra point to give the Buffs an early 7-0 lead.
- After a holding call on Washington during kickoff, the Huskies started their drive on their 10-yard line. On first down, Drew Lewis stuffed Myles Gaskin for a loss of 4 yards. After completing two passes to move the Huskies to their own 31-yard line, Colorado held strong and on third down Afolabi Laguda intercepted Jake Browning to give Colorado the ball back on their 17-yard line.
- Steven Montez started the ensuing drive with five completions and drove Colorado down to Washington's 42-yard line but Colorado was unable to get 11 yards on third down and Alex Kinney came on to punt. Colorado's Lee Walker was called for catch interference on the punt giving the Huskies ball on their 27-yard line.
- The Huskies went tempo on their drive and moved the ball effectively but once they got into the red zone they became stagnant and the Buffs held the Huskies on third down forcing them to kick a 32-yard field goal. Washington pulled the field goal far right and gave the Buffs the ball back on the Washington 15-yard line.
- On the ensuing drive, Washington forced a three-and-out on Colorado. Alex Kinney's punt was blocked and recovered on the Colorado 12-yard line by the Huskies. Washington took advantage of the blocked punt and punched it in for 7. Tying the game with 9:04 left in the second quarter.
- K.D. Nixon returned Washington's kickoff to the 29-yard line. The Buffs were easily moving the ball until a tipped pass landed in the hands of Jordan Miller for a Washington interception. Washington drove down the field and turned the interception into points with a 25-yard field goal to put the Huskies in the lead over Colorado.
- Colorado started its drive on its 20-yard line . The Buffs ran the ball four times and completed two passes to get them to the Washington 43-yard line but on first down Steven Montez was looking deep for Shay Fields in the end zone and the pass was intercepted by Jordan Miller to give the Huskies the ball back with a minute left in the half.
- Washington started their first drive of the second half on their 26-yard line. The Huskies drove 74 yards on the Buffs and finished their drive with a 43-yard touchdown pass from Jake Browning to Quinten Pounds to give the Huskies a 10 point lead over Colorado.
- Steven Montez gave Colorado momentum on their first drive of the second half with a 29 yard rush out to the 44-yard line. On third-and-six, Montez hit Bryce Bobo for a 16-yard completion to keep the Buffs drive alive. After three rushes and a Washington sack, Colorado couldn't convert on third down. James Stefanou knocked in a 49-yard field goal to put Colorado within seven with 7:28 remaining in the third quarter.
- On the ensuing drive, Washington started on its 25-yard line, they moved the ball effectively into Colorado territory but on third-and-nine, the Buffs held strong and forced a 41-yard field goal that was pushed wide left by Washington giving Colorado the ball on its 24-yard line.
- With the momentum in Colorado's favor after the missed field goal, the Buffs came out with an 8-yard completion to Shay Fields and a Phillip Lindsay run but on third down, Steven Montez threw his third interception which was returned by Myles Bryant for a 35-yard pick six.
- Colorado punted to begin the fourth quarter. Alex Kinney's punt went out of bounds at the Washington 39-yard line. The Huskies drove 61 yards for a touchdown. Myles Gaskin rushed for 51-yards to set up the six yard touchdown run to give Washington a 21 point lead.
- After a turn over on downs by Colorado, Washington took over on its 43-yard and one the first play from scrimmage Myles Gaskin busted through Colorado's defense for a 57-yard touchdown run. The point after was no good.
- The Buffs lose their first Pac-12 game of the season to the No. 7 Washington Huskies, 37-10.
