The conference converges on San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – Wednesday is the Pac-12 Conference's Media Day for women's basketball. Head coach JR Payne is joined by senior guards Kennedy Leonard and Alexis Robinson in San Francisco at Pac-12 Network headquarters. The Colorado contingent will spend much of the day shooting promos for the conference in advance of the season and doing interviews with various media outlets.

The Pac-12 Network will provide over three hours of live coverage from the event with special editions of its newest programming, "Inside Pac-12 Basketball." The Pac-12's coverage begins at 12 p.m. MT, with "Inside Pac-12 Basketball: Women's Media Day Special.' 

New this season, is a live show on ESPN U, airing from 4-5 p.m. MT. The press room podium will also be live streamed on Pac-12.com and on Facebook. 

Follow the group on social media throughout the day for updates and behind-the-scenes pictures and videos. Content will primarily be posted to the CU women's basketball Instagram and Twitter accounts (both @CUBuffsWBB).

UPDATES:

The student-athletes and coach Payne spent the day talking about he upcoming season, doing photo shoots and performing promos for the Pac-12 and the 2019 Pac-12 Tournament.

Preseason Coaches Poll: Colorado's women's basketball team was picked ninth in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll on Wednesday.Oregon was picked first, followed by Stanford and Oregon State.
