Weather:Â
- The forecast calls for a 50-percent chance of snow with a high of 28 degrees and possible accumulation of 3-inches of snow.
- There have only been six games where a substantial amount of snow has fallen during a game since 1949. The last time it happened was Nov. 11, 2000 against Kansas State, a 34-27 loss. However in those six games, Colorado is 5-1. Â
- The coldest game at Folsom Field at kickoff was 10 degrees all the way back on Nov. 21, 1931 against Colorado College. The last time a game was under 30-degrees at kickoff was 29 against Southern California in 2013. Colorado is 18-9-1 all-time in games below freezing, home or away.Â
- The Buffaloes look to get win No. 6 and become bowl eligible for just the second time in the last 11 seasons. Â
- It's Senior Day for the Buffs. A total of 19 seniors are taking part in the Senior Day Celebration: Mo Bandi, Javier Edwards, Kabion Ento, Kyle Evans, Nick Fisher, Jase Franke, Rick Gamboa, Josh Kaiser, Bailey Landwehr, Donovan Lee, Drew Lewis, Jay MacIntyre, Travon McMillian, Chris Mulumba, Jaisen Sanchez, Daniel Talley, Kyle Trego, Juwann Winfree and Evan Worthington.Â
- The 20th Annual Buffalo Heart Award will be presented postgame by the "fans behind the bench." The first winner back in 1998 was current co-Offensive Coordinator Darrin Chiaverini. Last year Phillip Lindsay was awarded the honor.Â
- Some milestones within reach today:Â
- ;Travon McMillian needs 90 yards rushing to record the 17th 1,000-yard rushing season in program history.Â
- Steven Montez needs 102 passing yards to move into the top 5 for a season in CU history. He currently has 2,595 and is in ninth place. With 289 yards, he would move into fourth place. Â
- Montez has 2,782 yards of total offense this season, seventh most in program history, and needs 218 to hit the 3,000-yard mark, which would put him in fourth place.Â
- Laviska Shenault needs 118 receiving yards to reach 1,000 for the season and record the 10th 1,000-yard receiving season in CU history. His 882 yards currently ranks 12th and he needs just 12 yards to get to 10th place.Â
- Shenault has 70 receptions this season, good for seventh all-time. He needs 14 catches to move into third place all-time. Â
- Shenault has averaged 10.0 receptions in his seven games this season. To be ranked nationally, a player must participate in 75 percent of the team's games. If he plays in the next two games, he will hit that threshold and be eligible to be ranked again. The current leader in the NCAA is Purdue's Rondale Moore at 8.2 receptions per game. Shenault needs to play in both games and would need just five more receptions in the next two games to average 8.3 per game, or 75 in nine games.
- Rick Gamboa has 371 career tackles and is seventh place in CU history. He needs just two to move past Laval Short (1976-79) into sixth place. The next milestone after that would be 29 more tackles for 400 career tackles and he'd become the sixth player in program history to reach that mark. Â
