BOULDER – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) selected University of Colorado assistant Kim English as a 2017-18 Under Armour 30-under-30 honoree.
Â
The 30-under-30 program recognizes a group of up and coming young coaches in men's college basketball. English just completed his first year as an assistant on head coach Tad Boyle's staff, helping the Buffaloes to a 17-15 record. He was the only selection from the Pac-12, and one of five from the "Power 5" conferences.
Â
A native of Baltimore, and a Missouri graduate, English was a 2012 NBA Draft Pick by the Detroit Pistons and enjoyed a three-year professional career, which included the 2012-13 NBA season in Detroit and two years overseas. He spent two years on Frank Haith's staff at Tulsa before joining the Buffaloes last season.
