Buffs Wrap Up Foreign Tour With Perfect 3-0 Record

COSTA MASNAGA, Italy - Colorado wrapped up its foreign tour to Italy with a 105-44 win over Basket Costa on Tuesday night. CU finished the tour with a 3-0 record (final stats tour from the are attached above in the PDF).
The Buffs faced their best competition of the three games on Tuesday, but they were still too much for their opponents. Freshman Emma Clarke led all scorers with 25 points and added eight rebounds, four steals and three assists. She shot 11-of-16 from the floor and knocked down one 3-pointer.
Kennedy Leonard had 13 points, eight assists, six rebounds and four steals for a well-balanced stat line. Quinessa Caylao-Do also had 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Annika Jank (11 points, seven rebounds) and Sirena Tuitele (10 points, 10 rebounds) also scored in double figures.
CU forced 31 turnovers with 24 steals, leading to 38 of the team's 105 points. The Buffs also outrebounded Basket Costa 69-30 and had a 32-0 edge in second-chance points.
Colorado opens the 2018-19 season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 6, against Northern Colorado at the CU Events Center. Season ticket packages are available here.
