#NFLBuffs: Bakhtiari Leads The Way In Week Seven

This week the #NFLBuffs were led by Packers standout offensive lineman David Bakhtiari.
Bakhtiari allowed zero pressures on quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a game where he had a historic performance throwing for 429 yards and five touchdowns, while adding a rushing touchdown as well. Rodgers received a perfect passer rating of 185.3, which was the first time a Packers quarterback has ever earned that metric.
Mason Crosby didn't attempt a field goal during Sunday's 42-24 rout of the Raiders, but he was a perfect 6-6 on his extra point attempts. The Packers are now 6-1 and stand alone atop the NFC North.
Phillip Lindsay carried the ball 11 times for 36 yards in the Broncos 30-6 loss to the Chiefs.
Chidobe Awuzie recorded five total tackles, two of which were solo, in a 37-10 victory over the Eagles.
Isaiah Oliver recorded four tackles (two solo) in the Falcons 37-10 loss to the Rams.
Tedric Thompson had two solo tackles in a 30-16 loss to the Ravens.
Injury Updates
Ahkello Witherspoon is making progress on a foot sprain he suffered in week three against the Dolphins and he is expected to return to action sometime in late October.
Jimmy Smith was back on the practice field last week prior to the Ravens matchup against the Seahawks and he is expected to return from his sprained MCL injury following the Ravens week eight BYE.
New NFL Buff
The Houston Texans signed former CU defensive tackle Javier Edwards to their practice squad on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Edwards graduated from CU in 2019 where he recorded 36 tackles (19 solo), three tackles for loss, and one and a half sacks during the 2018 season.
