#NFLBuffs: Lindsay Makes History In Week 17

December 30, 2019 | Football

In the final week of the 2019 regular season Phillip Lindsay made NFL history in a 16-15 win over the Oakland Raiders.

Lindsay rushed 18 times for 53 yards in the victory which helped him eclipse the 1,000 rushing yards milestone for the second consecutive season, making him the first-ever undrafted player in NFL history to surpass that metric in back-to-back years.

Lindsay finished the season with 224 carries for 1,011 yards and seven touchdowns along with 35 receptions for 196 yards.

Mason Crosby kicked the Packers into a first-round bye with his 33-yard game winning field goal in a 23-20 victory over the Lions. Crosby was 3-for-4 on field goals, with a long of 40 yards, and 2-for-2 on his extra point attempts.

Additionally, David Bakhtiari recorded his highest pass blocking grade of the season with a 91.1 according to ProFootballFocus, which helped in allowing Aaron Rodgers to throw for 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Ahkello Witherspoon recorded five solo tackles, two pass breakups and a third down stop in the Niners 26-21 victory over the Seahawks.

Chidobe Awuzie had four tackles (three solo), two pass breakups and two third down stops in the Cowboys 47-16 victory over the Redskins.
