Buffs Set Spring Dates

CU will play five spring matches

BOULDER— Colorado soccer coach Danny Sanchez announced five dates that will make up the Buffaloes' spring slate on Thursday. CU will play four of the five matches at home. 

The Buffs return to the pitch on Friday, March 8. The team will host the Real Colorado Boy's 04 DA to open the season. Colorado has a little break before its next match at home against Air Force on April 7. Nebraska (April 20) and Wyoming (April 27) round out the home dates. 

CU will play its lone away contest on April 13, traveling to BYU. 

Colorado finished 13-4-3 on the season, going 5-4-2 in the Pac-12. The Buffs set program records in goals (47), assists (52) and total points (146). Second-team All-American Taylor Kornieck will be back for her senior campaign as will All-Pac-12 goalkeeper Jalen Tompkins. Colorado will return 15 players in all. The team will be without the talents of graduating seniors Jorian Baucom, Scout Watson, Nancy Best, Isobel Dalton, Sarah Kinzner, Megan Massey and Erin Greening.
