CU hosts Nebraska on Saturday
BOULDER – Colorado soccer hit the midway point of the spring last weekend. The Buffaloes played to a 1-0 loss at BYU. The Buffaloes have two more spring dates set against Nebraska (Apr. 20) and Wyoming (Apr. 27).
Strong goaltending from senior-to-be Jalen Tompkins highlighted the match for CU. Head coach Danny Sanchez noted that "JJ really kept us in the game."

Colorado, who loses seven seniors from 2018, has holes to fill across the board. The next two weeks will be a major step for those players trying to step into certain roles.
"This is a great opportunity for those players to really perform and hopefully put themselves in a good position before all the freshmen come in in the fall," Sanchez added.
CU will have a few more opportunities to get out and compete this summer before the start of fall camp. The Buffs will play four matches as part of their trip to France in June.
