Buffaloes Move Up To 20th In Latest IWLCA Poll

BOULDER — The University of Colorado lacrosse team moved up two spots to 20th in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll after appearing in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament championship game on Sunday.
CU is also ranked 20th in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse Media poll and is receiving votes in the NIKE/US Lacrosse poll.
The Buffaloes, who were the No. 2 seed in the Pac-12 tournament, defeated No. 3 Stanford, 16-9, in the semifinals. CU then fell to top-seeded Southern California in the finals.
With the win, USC earned the Pac-12's automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament, while the Buffs (10-7) will have to wait and see if they receive an at-large bid. The NCAA Selection Show is Sunday, May 5, at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on NCAA.com.
