June 28, 2019 | Women's Golf

BOULDER — University of Colorado women's golf coach Anne Kelly announced the team's 2019-20 schedule on Friday, which will feature five fall events and five spring events leading into the postseason.

The Buffaloes are set to open the campaign at the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational, September 9-10, in Dallas, Texas. The two-day event will feature 36 holes on the first day and then conclude with the final 18-hole round on day two.

September will be a busy month for Colorado with two more events. CU will head to Pullman, Wash. for the Cougar Cup, Sept. 16-17. At the end of the month, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, the Buffs will compete in The Molly, which is co-hosted by California and Oregon State in Portland, Ore.

The fourth fall tournament for CU is the Betsy Rawls Invitational, October 12-13. The University of Texas will host the event at the UT Golf Club.

In what has become a tradition, the final competition of the fall slate is the Nanea Pac-12 Preview in Kona, Hawai'i. The Buffs will compete against the other 10 Pac-12 programs. November 4-6, playing 18 holes each day.

The spring season will kick off February 10-11 with the Lamkin Invitational, which is hosted by San Diego State University. This is the first match play competition of the season for CU, and is the first since the spring of 2018. One week later, CU will compete at the Rebel Beach Invitational, Feb. 17-18, in Las Vegas.

The Buffs will play in a pair of tournaments during the month of March, starting with the University of Arizona Wildcat Invitational, March 9-10, in Tucson, Ariz. CU will have a couple of weeks off before heading to the island of Maui to play in the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. The tournament will be played over the course of three days, March 23-25, with one 18-hole round each day.

The regular season will concluded April 5-7 with the Buffaloes co-hosting their annual Silverado Showdown with Oregon in Napa, Calif.

The 2020 Pac-12 Championship is set for April 24-26, and will be hosted by Stanford. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 11-13 at various sites, while the NCAA Championship will be May 22-27 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
