Buffs, Jayhawks Schedule Home-And-Home Series

June 03, 2019 | Men's Basketball

BOULDER – Colorado and Kansas have renewed their basketball rivalry with a home-and-home series set to begin this winter.

The Buffaloes will travel to play their former Big Eight/Big 12 Conference foe at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 7, 2019.

Kansas will return to the CU Events Center in December 2020.

This season's game will be the 164th meeting between Colorado and Kansas with the Jayhawks holding a 123-40 series lead. It will be the third meeting since 2011-12 when Colorado moved to the Pac-12 Conference.

The last meeting was a memorable one for the Buffaloes. Askia Booker hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give the Buffaloes a 75-72 over the No. 6 ranked
Jayhawks on Dec. 7, 2013.

Colorado's full nonconference schedule will be announced later this summer.
