Buffs To Open Season At Wyoming Invitational

BOULDER — After a couple of weeks of training, the 2019 cross country season will officially begin for the University of Colorado Friday, September 6, at the Wyoming Invitational in Cheyenne, Wyo.

Both teams will run a 5,000-meter race at The Little America Golf Course. The women will go first at 6 p.m. and the men will follow at 6:30 p.m.

Following the Wyoming Invite, the Buffs will have several weeks off to prepare for the next competition, the Joe Piane Invitational, October 4 in South Bend, Ind.

The CU women enter the meet as the USTFCCCA Poll preseason favorite, while the men were selected fourth. In the regional rankings, CU was second on the women's side, and third on the men's side. Â Â
