Taylor Makes Starting Debut, Awuzie Makes Anticipated Return

Davion Taylor (Philadelphia) makes his NFL starting debut and Chidobe Awuzie (Dallas) returns to the field in Week 11 of #NFLBuffs.
Taylor Slides Into Starting Lineup
Taylor started his first career game in the NFL in a 22-17 loss to Cleveland. The rookie third-round pick played 18 snaps on defense and 21 on special teams. Taylor tallied two solo tackles at linebacker and one on special teams.
Taylor joins Laviska Shenault Jr. and Arlington Hambright as the three rookie Buffs to start a game in the NFL this season.
Awuzie Returns After Missing Seven Straight
Awuzie returned to action for the Cowboys in a 31-28 win at Minnesota. Awuzie started and played in every defensive snap in the victory where he recorded nine total tackles, five of which were solo. His nine tackles on Sunday set a career-high.
Buffs In Action
David Bakhtiari (Green Bay) started and played every snap a week after signing an extension with the Packers that made him the highest paid offensive tackle in NFL history.
Ken Crawley (New Orleans) played one snap on defense and eight on special teams in a 24-9 win against Atlanta. Crawley had been inactive for four straight weeks before returning on Sunday.
Mason Crosby (Green Bay) went one-for-one on field goals and four-for-four on extra points in a 34-31 overtime loss to Indianapolis. Crosby made a 26-yard field goal with three seconds left in regulation to force overtime for the Packers.
Phillip Lindsay (Denver) started his fifth game of the season in a 20-13 win over Miami. Lindsay totaled 82 yards on 16 carries for an average of 5.13 yards-per-carry.
Lindsay is third in the NFL amongst running backs averaging 5.4 yards-per-carry.
Isaiah Oliver (Atlanta) came off the bench for the Falcons in a 24-9 loss to New Orleans. Oliver played 25 snaps on defense, where he recorded an assisted tackle, and eight on special teams.
Jimmy Smith (Baltimore) came off the bench and played 26 snaps on defense in a 30-24 overtime loss to Tennessee. Smith recorded one solo tackle of defense.
Coming into the week, Smith was one of only three cornerbacks in the NFL to have not allowed 100 yards in coverage on the season (96), per Pro Football Focus.
Buffs Sidelined
Laviska Shenault Jr. (Jacksonville) and Tedric Thompson (Kansas City) were both inactive for Week 11.
Buffs On Bye
Ahkello Witherspoon (San Francisco) and Arlington Hambright (Chicago) were off with their scheduled bye weeks.
Practice Squad
Daniel Munyer (Tennessee), Delrick Abrams (Atlanta), Tony Brown (Washington), Steven Montez (Washington), and Juwann Winfree (Green Bay) were all on their respective practice squads for Week 11.
Winfree was placed back on the practice unit after making his season debut in Week 10.
