Jones And Klecker Named CU Athletes Of The Week, Presented By Arrow

BOULDER – Track and Field's Dani Jones and Joe Klecker were named the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow, for the week of Feb. 10 – 16.
Jones, a senior distance runner from Phoenix, Ariz., ran the 9th fastest time in NCAA history in the 5,000 with a time of 15:17.11 at Boston University. She became the only athlete in NCAA history with a top-10 mile and 5,000 time on a 200-meter track. Jones currently has the best mile time, second-best 800 time and third-best 5000 time in the NCAA for this year's indoor track season.
Klecker, a graduate student distance runner from Minnetonka, Minn., won the men's 5,000 at the Husky Classic in a new school record with a time of 13:34.10, lowering his own record by 2 seconds. He currently owns the top time in the mile, the second-best 3,000 time and the fourth best 5,000 time for this year's NCAA indoor season.

Sondre Bollum, Skiing – The junior was the Buffs top finisher in the 10K Freestyle race on Friday, finishing in 16th place, He followed that performance up with an 11th place finish in the 10K Classic race on Saturday.
Anna-Maria Dietze, Skiing – The freshman finished fourth in the 5K Freestyle race Friday and followed that up with a 2nd place finish in the 10K Classic race on Saturday. They were the first two top 5 finishes of her career.
Tyler Bey, MBB – The junior finished with a 21-point, 15-rebound double-double in the Buff's win against Oregon State on Saturday. Bey's 10th double-double of the season.
Mya Hollingshed, WBB – The junior recorded her eighth career double-double in CU's win over Cal. She scored 10 points and matched her career-high with 12 rebounds. She also led CU with 19 points in the Buffs' three-point loss to No. 8 Stanford.
Ellie Gower, Women's Golf – The freshman won all three of her match play contests at the Lamkin Invitational to lead CU to a 2-1-0 record.
