Three Buffs Named to Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll
March 31, 2020 | General, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Herbst Academic Center
BOULDER -- The University of Colorado athletic department landed three student-athletes on the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
CU's honorees hail from men's and women's basketball, the only two Pac-12 winter sponsored sports. Aidan McQuade (Integrative Physiology) and Frank Ryder (Economics) represent the men's team, while Annika Jank (Communications) represented the women.
The Pac-12 implemented its new honor roll in the fall on the recommendation of the Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs). The conference changed the all-academic selection process to eliminate all-academic teams and honor anyone that has a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or greater and has served a year in residence at their institution.
