Buffaloes Enter Rankings At 47
March 10, 2021 | Tennis
BOULDER – Colorado women's tennis has entered the top-50 team rankings in the nation at No.47, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Wednesday morning.
Â
Colorado (7-3, 1-1 Pac-12) enter the top-50 ranking for the first time under head coach Danielle Steinberg as well as the first time since being ranked 47th on March 10 of 2015.
Â
The jump into the polls comes after the Buffaloes upset then No.12-ranked Cal, who has now dropped to 17th after the weekend. The 4-3 victory over the Golden Bears was the highest-ranked conference win in program history and is the first-ever defeat of a California-based Pac-12 school in conference.
Â
The Buffs head to Eugene this weekend to take on Oregon Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT.
