Cahill Named Pac-12 Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO — University of Colorado senior Eliza Cahill has been named the 2021 Pac-12 Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
Cahill will graduate this week from CU with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance, as well as a minor in political science. In her four years with the Buffaloes, she has maintained a 3.921 grade point average, which includes a pair of 4.0's.
 
The native of The Woodlands, Texas, was a member of the Pac-12 Academic Teams and Honor Roll the last couple of years. She was named to the AD's Honor Roll seven times and was a member of the Dean's List six times. She also received the Bryon R. White Leadership and Initiative Award this past year, which is awarded annually to those student-athletes who have exhibited outstanding initiative and demonstrate a strong commitment to service to the CU and Boulder communities.
 
Cahill is the first CU lacrosse player to earn this award. Prior recipients include Shannon Williams (Oregon, 2019) and Kelsey Murray (Stanford, 2018).
