#NFLBuffs: Tchangam Signed By Seahawks

SEATTLE--Alex Tchangam was signed by the Seattle Seahawks Monday, when the organization also waived six players to reach the 85 roster limit imposed by the NFL this week.

Tchangam played in 21 games, starting five, for the Buffs over two seasons in 2018-19, finishing his career with 39 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 10 third down stops, seven quarterback pressures, a forced fumble and pass breakup.

Tchangam went undrafted after finishing his eligibility during the 2019 season. He came to the Buffs from De Anza College where he first played football in 2017, having not played football in high school. He was a first-team All-Bay 6 League selection in the Northern California Football Conference.

Tchangam is one of 23 Buffs on NFL preseason rosters.

Delbrick Abrams Jr. is looking to make the Falcons after appearing in three games as a rookie in 2020.
Chidobe Awuzie is looking good in Bengals camp after spending his first four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. RotoWire said Awuzie has "been shutting down Bengals' receivers all camp."
David Bakhtiari opened camp on the PUP list, not surprising given his injury in late December. He is ahead of schedule and could still be ready for the opening week of the season. He enters his 10th season and was named first-team All-Pro for the second time and a Pro Bowl selection for the third time in 2020. Bakhtiari is entering the second season of a four-year, $92 million contract extension.
Tony Brown is entering his second season with the Washington Football Team and saw action in one game last season.
Ken Crawley spent his first five seasons with the Saints and last year moved around a bit with the Raiders and Cardinals, but ended the season back on the Saints, with whom he re-upped with in May. He's played in 49 career games with 25 starts in his career.
Mason Crosby enters his 16th season with the Packers and is the franchise's all-time leading scorer. He show no signs of slowing down as he made 16-of-16 field goals and 59-of-63 extra points in 2020. He signed a three-year deal with the Packers prior to the start of the 2020 season.
Kabion Ento enters his third season on the Packers roster and has yet to see regular season action, but he did come up with a big interception in the red zone in last weekend's preseason debut against Houston.
Arlington Hambright enters his second season with the Chicago Bears after playing nine games his rookie season in 2020.
Phillip Lindsay enters his fourth season in the NFL and first with the Texans after spending his first three seasons with the Broncos. Lindsay started in the first preseason game for the Texans and had 5 carries for 14 yards in the first drive of the game before the back-ups came in.
Steven Montez enters his second season with the Washington Football Team and didn't see action but was on the active roster the final three games of his rookie season in 2020. He threw a nice TD pass in Washington's first preseason game last weekend.
Daniel Munyer enters his sixth season in the NFL and his third with the Titans. He was on and off the Titans practice squad during the 2020 season and signed a reserve/future contract after the conclusion of the season for the 2021 campaign.
Isaiah Oliver enters his fourth season, all with the Falcons, and is in the final year of his contract in 2021. He has played in 46 career games with 30 starts over his first three seasons and has 155 career tackles and one interception.
Devin Ross enters his fourth season in the NFL after spending time with the Titans and Eagles before landing on the Patriots ahead of the 2020 season. Ross had a solid mini camp for the Patriots over the summer and is still looking to play in his first NFL game.
Laviska Shenault Jr. enters his second season with the Jaguars, who feature new No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence at QB. Shenault caught Lawrence's first pass in the first preseason game last weekend and signs out of Jaguars camp is that new coach Urban Meyer and the franchise are excited about his potential.
Will Sherman enters his rookie season with the New England Patriots after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Jimmy Smith enters his 11th season, all with the Ravens, in 2021. He was injured during camp prior to the first preseason game but is expected back by the opening weekend. He has played in 118 games and started 88 in his career, coming up with 356 tackles and 14 interceptions.
Nate Solder enters his 10th season and his second with the Giants after opting out of the 2020 season. Solder injured his shoulder last week, but will be looked upon to bolster the Giants o-line this coming season.
Davion Taylor enters his second season and unfortunately injured his quad early in camp and is considered week-to-week, but coach Nick Sirianna told RotoWire that he has "been impressing recently through his approach to team meetings and willingness to work with linebackers coach Nick Rallis to stay involved while he recovers."
Tedric Thompson enters his fifth season in the NFL and has bounced around a bit this summer after starting 2020 on the Chiefs and finishing 2020 on the Browns. He was signed and waived by the Broncos and is currently on the Titans roster. He has played in 37 career games with 16 starts and has three interceptions and 93 tackles in his career.
Josh Tupou has been getting first-team reps in the Bengals' interior line rotation to open camp after opting out of the 2020 season. Tupou enters his fourth season and has played in 23 career games with seven starts, with 16 of those games and all seven starts coming in the 2019 season.
Juwann Winfree enters his third season after finishing the 2020 season with the Packers. Winfree was impressive during OTAs and minicamp and is expected to compete for a role with the Packers this season.
Ahkello Witherspoon enters his fifth season in the NFL and first with the Seahawks after spending his first four seasons with the 49ers. He's excepted to be a starter in 2021 for the Seahawks and brings 47 games and 33 starts worth of experience with him. He has 117 tackles and four interceptions in his career.
