Ranked 25 for first ranking of season
LOUISVILLE, Kent. – Colorado volleyball enters the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-25 at 25, the AVCA announced Monday afternoon.

The Buffs are undefeated this season with a school record seven wins to start the season. They are ranked 18th in the nation in kills per set at 14.07, 20th in the nation in hitting percentage at .275, 35th in the nation with 2.61 blocks per set and 43rd in opponent hitting percentage at .156.

The team is led individually by Leah Clayton who is ranked 24th in the nation in kills per set and 30th in points per set. Meegan Hart is 60th in the nation in hitting percentage at .386 while Jenna Ewert is 46th in assists per set at 10.33.

Colorado was last ranked in the 2019 season during the Sept. 9th poll when they were 5-0 after defeating No.5 Illinois, rising to 19th in the nation. This is the 130th week in school history that team has been ranked.

CU is one of seven schools in the top-25 that are undefeated this season. They are one of six Pac-12 schools represented, tying the BIG TEN for most conference representatives.

The Buffs have a home-and-home this week against CSU, taking on the Rams Thursday in Boulder at 7 p.m. and then competing for the 2nd annual Golden Spike Trophy Saturday at 1 p.m. in Fort Collins.
