BOULDER—The 10th Annual Kyle MacIntosh Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk that will start and finish on Franklin Field on the east side of Folsom Field, is set for Sunday, June 26, and spots are still available to register.

The Kyle MacIntosh Memorial 5K is a family event and will begin at 8 a.m. with registration followed by the start of the race at 8:30 a.m.  Those unable to come to Boulder can take part in the event virtually any time between June 26 and July 4.

MacIntosh was a member of the CU Track & Field Team and passed away in 2015 at just 23 years old after a long and courageous fight against cancer.

Registration is $25 per person or $90 for a family of up to five members. The Fun Run is one of a few events for the Buffs4Life weekend which also includes a Legacy Golf Outing at Colorado National followed by a Weekend Party at Blake Street Tavern, both set for Saturday.  Sunday following the Fun Run will be an event at Top Golf.  Visit Buffs4Life.org for more information.

The Buffs4Life Foundation is run by former student-athletes, building a unique support system to help former University of Colorado athletes and their families.

The title sponsor for the weekend and race is the Alumni C Club, CU's letterwinner's organization.

"The Alumni C Club Board voted unanimously to set up as the title sponsor for the 10th Annual Kyle MacIntosh Fun Run," said Kimbirly Orr, Alumni C Club Executive Director. "We believe our partnership with the Foundation is important.  We are all Buffs and committed to supporting Buffs in need."
