Beyer Selected for U20 German National Team Training Camp

Camp takes place June 7-12
BOULDER—Colorado sophomore Jenny Beyer was one of eight collegiate players selected to Germany's U20 World Cup training roster. The training, set for June 7-12 will take place in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.
Beyer will join a roster of 29 players, four goalkeepers and 25 field players, for the five-day training session. The roster will be coached by Kathrin Peter.
The training will be geared towards preparation for the 2022 U20 World Cup in Costa Rica, August 10-28.Â
Beyer missed all of the Buffaloes' 2021 season. She played in 11 games as a freshman in the 2020 season, played in 2021, before suffering a season-ending knee injury. She started 10 games and recorded one assist in 761 minutes.
Next week won't be Beyer's first stint with the German National Team. She was a member of the U17 National Team and has been with Die Mannschaft since 2016. Â
