No. 2-ranked Auburn ran away from the field in the final round, as the Tigers shot the best single round of the event Tuesday with a 10-unver 278; that gave them an overall team score of 21-under 843. The Rebels finished with an 862 score, the only other team under par for the event, with tri-host Mississippi State finishing third (865).
Colorado entered the final round in fourth and got off to a decent start – 2-under par early on – but eventually finished with an 11-over 299 score for the round and a 19-over 883 overall. A triple bogey and three doubles over a four-hole span sent the Buffaloes into over-par numbers for the remainder of the round. No. 29 SMU leapfrogged the Buffaloes into fourth (873) and Kansas took fifth (875).
Junior Dylan McDermott tied for 20th after closing with a 4-over 76, which gave him a 3-over 219 overall for the event. Junior Jack Holland finished 30th, turning in his best round of the three Tuesday with a 1-over 71; he finished with a 5-over 221 scorecard. He had just one birdie and 11 pars Tuesday (five and 33, respectively for the event). He was 4-over through five holes (two bogeys and a double), knocked one off that when he made his bird on No. 7, but would again had two more bogeys and another double the rest of the round.

He then bogeyed the next three holes and was 7-over through four, but to his credit, he played the last 14 holes at even par, with two birdies, 10 pars and two other bogeys. He had seven birdies and 30 pars overall.
"We were in a good position through just short of the turn and just had a brutal stretch through the middle part of the round," CU head coach Roy Edwards said.
