Pac-12 Announces Full Schedule

October 17, 2023 | Women's Basketball

Buffs will play on TNT, ESPN and Pac-12 Network this season

BOULDER — The 2023-24 Colorado women's basketball schedule was released in full with the completion of the Pac-12's television selections on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes will have six non-conference games televised along with all 18 league matchups. CU's non-conference games against Oklahoma State (Nov. 12) and Northern Colorado (Dec. 21) were picked up by the Pac-12 Network. Previously announced games against LSU (TNT) and the Paradise Jam Classic games (ESPN Networks) were already slated for TV.

CU's 24 televised regular season games are the most in program history. Highlighting the schedule for CU is the Feb. 26 meeting with UCLA. The game will be Colorado's first conference game on ESPN2 since playing at Kansas State on Feb. 8, 2004.

Last month, the Pac-12 announced the conference's weekly pairings, but Tuesday's announcement set the full schedule. Colorado opens conference play at home on Dec. 30 against Utah.

CU starts the New Year on the road on Jan. 5, visiting Arizona and then Arizona State on Jan. 7. The Buffs return home for a season-long four-game homestand against California (Jan. 12), Stanford (Jan. 14) UCLA (Jan. 19) and USC (Jan. 21). The team wraps up January with a visit to Oregon State (Jan. 26) and Oregon (Jan. 28).

February kicks off in the Palouse with a visit to Washington State (Feb. 2). CU stays in the Pacific Northwest, finishing the trip off at Washington (Feb. 4). Oregon and Oregon State make return visits to the CU Events Center on Feb. 9 and Feb. 11 before the Buffs head back out on the road for a Friday night matchup against Utah (Feb. 16). The road-swing continues west with the Buffs making a stop in Los Angles for a pair of games against USC (Feb. 23) and the aforementioned Monday night meeting with UCLA (Feb. 26) on ESPN2.

The Buffs wrap up the regular season at home with visits from Washington (Feb. 29) and Washington State (Mar. 2). The game against the Huskies will be just the fourth time CU has had a game on a leap day. CU last played on Feb. 29, 1992, beating Nebraska 83-63. The Buffs are 2-1 all-time on the added day.

The Pac-12 Tournament is set for Mar. 6-10 in Las Vegas, Nev. This year's tournament returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
