
Buffs Set to Compete in Mines Mini-Meet and Fum McGraw Power Meet

BOULDER -- The University of Colorado track and field program is set to participate in the Mines Mini-Meet (Apr. 21) and the Fum McGraw Power Meet (Apr. 23) this week.Â
Amanda Opp gets the meet started for the Buffs, competing in the women's hammer throw at 10:30 a.m. Upon the conclusion of the women's hammer event, Matt Ward and Tyler Sconce will participate for the men.
Jackson Meyer, John Swabik and Nicholas Bianco will be competing in the long jump for the men, while Avery McMullen, Kara Lucyk, Riley Burkey, and Allie Routledge will compete for the women after the men's event.
The Mines Mini-Meet will conclude for the Buffs with Joy Moorer running in the 400-meter hurdles.
On Sunday, a full contingent of Buffs will travel to Fort Collins to take part in the Fum McGraw Power Meet at CSU.Â
The meet kicks off Sunday with the men's Hammer at 9:00 a.m., followed by the women directly after. Ward and Sconce will be back in action for the men, competing along with Lars Atkinson, Lucas Williams, Ames Newman and Isaiah Bouchard.Â
Meanwhile, Amanda Opp will also be back in action for the women's team, participating along with Jane Powers, Elena Opp, Isabella Braun and Gya'ni Sami.
