BOULDER - Charlie Rudy, Sam McGee, and Ashley Stokes earned Pac-12 Conference Awards today, and Rudy was awarded Pac-12 Attacker of the Year.

Rudy and McGee were both named First Team All-Conference while Stokes was awarded Second Team All-Conference.

For Rudy, a fifth-year graduate student, it was the first time that she's made the First Team or been named the Attacker of the Year. Rudy was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for the first time in 2021 and achieved the honor again in 2022.

The Novato, Calif. native is at the forefront of the Pac-12 in goals with 61 so far this season. Rudy also leads the conference in points with 75.

Out of all D1 women's lacrosse players in the NCAA, Rudy is 10th in goals per game, averaging 3.86 goals. Before having her first scoreless game of the season against Oregon last week, she was ranked as high as fourth with 4.07 goals a game.

The attacker has earned a hat trick in 14 out of 16 games this season and went on an eleven game streak where she earned at least three goals in every game.

Rudy was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for the first time in 2021 and achieved the honor again in 2022.

This is McGee's first time receiving All-Pac-12 awards. The St. Joseph's transfer is second in the Pac-12 in goals, edging past Stanford's Annabel Frist by one goal over the weekend. The sixth-year grad student has had 49 goals this year and is 32nd in the NCAA with 3.06 goals per game.

This is also Stokes' first Pac-12 postseason honor. The junior midfielder has put away 27 goals this year, making her 18th in the conference. Stokes is ninth in the Pac-12 in assists with 23. Stokes leads the team in assists and holds the single season high for most assists in a game with five against Arizona State.

The Buffs are slated to play Oregon in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament Wednesday, May 3, at 8 p.m. MT. Colorado is seeded third while Oregon is seeded sixth. If the Buffs defeat the Ducks, they'll play No.2-seeded Stanford Thursday at 8 p.m. MT.
