Colorado Set to Play in Paradise Jam Classic

CU will take on Cincinnati, Kentucky and North Carolina State
BOULDER—The Colorado women's basketball team was picked as one of four schools to participate in this season's Island Tournament at the Paradise Jam Classic in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
The Buffs will play three games in three days during the tournament, opening against Cincinnati on Nov. 23. Colorado will also play Kentucky (Nov. 24) and North Carolina State (Nov. 25).
"We are incredibly excited to have our team participate in a prestigious tournament like the Paradise Jam," head coach JR Payne explained. "Our team is excited to be able to play such high-caliber teams and will be a great overall experience to be in the US Virgin Islands during Thanksgiving week."
It will be CU's first time playing in the tournament. Colorado leads the all-time series against NC State (1-0), last playing in 1997. The Buffs and Wildcats have split their previous two games, with CU getting the upper hand in 2016. It will be Colorado's first time meeting Cincinnati on the hardwood.
The family of ESPN networks will broadcast the action.
