Peluso Earns Pac-12 DPOTW for Second Time This Season

BOULDER — The Pac-12 Conference announced Tuesday afternoon that Colorado's Jess Peluso is named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, after her incredible performance last Saturday against Cal.
For the first time in program history, a CU player has been named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week twice in the same season.
Peluso ended with a career-high five caused turnovers and four ground balls in the win over the Golden Bears. She is the only player in the conference with multiple games of four or more caused turnovers.
She is also one of two players in the Pac-12 with at least 16 caused turnovers and 15 ground balls.
Colorado last took home weekly awards earlier in the season, when Madeline Pisani and Peluso swept Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week back in February.
